Fun orders

 I had the privilege of working with a great group of tennis playing ladies. They have a wicked fun sense of humor as they came up with all the sayings for the wine totes. I hope that their auction is fantastic!  

 This unfortunately is the last order for these wine totes. I discovered that the distributor no longer carries them. I really loved these and I am sad that I can't use them anymore!

Design process

This is what I started with.....a drawing of a UH1Y

I am not an artist myself, so I scour the internet to find the perfect picture. This one happened to be in my files from Mr. Skidz's old squadron.

The image then gets digitized so that the embroidery machine can read it.

This is the applique version of it. Applique is when you use one fabric and sew it onto another fabric/surface.

I also have a filled design of the UH1Y that will be released soon as well!!

Hey y'all! Our kickball team (New Kicks on the Block) is raising money this season for one of my favorite non profits, the American Widow Project. I was introduced to the AWP in 2009 when a friend of mine attended a widow retreat. She had a wonderful time and meeting other widows really helped her through a traumatic and difficult time. For the entire month of April I will be donating 10% of all my Instagram sales to AWP.

Wondering what our SOTE (salt of the earth) charms are all about? We take sand and/or dirt that is precious to you, clean it, and put it into charms for you! I am very excited to get my SOTE heart charms for my children. 3 with Camp Lejeune sand and 1 with Camp Pendleton in it! I also used the coloring process (pink or blue) to further personalize them. 3 pink and 1 blue!! I can't tell you how much we can personalize our charms to tell your story!!
